Overview
Drawing from the vast culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at D Y Patil University, this unique course introduces participants to DYPU SODL’s entrepreneurial education programs, technology transfer system, and global entrepreneurial network. It covers the entire venture creation process, from generating ideas to building viable global businesses, with a special emphasis on the nurturing roles of corporations, universities, governments, and foundations.
This program leverages DYPU’s culture of high-tech entrepreneurship to help entrepreneurs, corporate venturing executives, start-up companies, and others involved in entrepreneurial environments learn what they need to develop ideas into successful businesses, and how to increase entrepreneurial opportunities in their corporations, institutions, and regions.
Through lectures by senior faculty, and live case studies with successful entrepreneurs, participants will be exposed to the content, context, and contacts that enable entrepreneurs to design and launch successful new ventures based on innovative technologies. Specially designed projects give participants hands-on training and practical experience developing a business plan, while networking events bring participants together.

Duration
Duration: 2 years
Master of Business Administration is a 2-year MBA Online program with core in Entrepreneurship Management, the minimum eligibility for which is graduation in any stream from a recognized university with minimum qualifying marks. The program is spread over 4 semesters.

The University welcomes applications from all the aspirants who have completed their Bachelor Degree Examination in any discipline from any recognised university or an equivalent degree recognised by the University Grants Commission with minimum of 40% marks

Career Pathway
Students who graduate with an MBA in Entrepreneurship may start their own companies but can also pursue a variety of high-level employment positions like chief technology officer, product development director, and business development director, or grow within a corporate environment.

Evaluation
Evaluation of student performance in each program-unit has two components :
- internal continuous assessment (program work) and
- evaluation of the assignments will out of 30 marks
- Passing marks in assignments out of 30 will be 12 marks
- The term end examinations which are held at the end of Semester will be out of 70 marks
- Passing marks in the semester end examination out of 70 will be 23 marks.
- Overall out of 100 marks a student needs to score 35 marks to pass.
The level of student academic performance as the aggregate of continuous evaluation and end semester examination is reflected by letter grades on a ten - point scale according to the connotations given below :

Program credit units are integer numbers indicating the weightage assigned to a program unit, project. Research work, summer internship etc. on the basis of contact hours per week on all learning activities.
Minimum Academic Requirements :
- The student must score a minimum Grade 'E' in each program unit.
- The minimum passing SGPA for each semester is 4.0 for Under Graduate Programs and 4.0 for Post Graduate
