Food photographs are used for various applications, ranging from recipe books, hoardings for a restaurant, food packing, menu card , press ads and social medias. The objective of the photographer is to take mouth watering photographs to allure the appetite of the consumer. This is achieved by the efforts of a team of expert chefs, food stylists, art director and an expert photographer who understands the delicate nature of food and knows how to bring them out in his photograph.

Colour and textures of the food rightly presented in a pleasing manner are the key to taking these shots. The photographer should also have a basic knowledge of cookery and many times he needs to clip in his or her knowledge during styling and layout.

The six months certification program, Certification in Food Photography is spread across 6 months, and includes various modules. The detailed program structure is as follows :

Certification Program

The University welcomes applications from all the aspirants who have completed their Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) in any discipline from any recognised university or an equivalent degree recognised by the University Grants Commission with minimum of 35% marks

  • 10th (SSC) Statement of Marks
  • 12th(HSC) Statement of Marks
  • Photo ID Proof ( PAN card / Passport / Driving License / Election Card )
  • Aadhaar Card
  • 2 Stamp Size photographs(not more than 3 months old)
  • Number of Seats - Open
  • Minimum Age 18 and Maximum no bar

All the students who wish to take admission in the certification program in Food Photography will be charged a fee of INR 50,000( entire program). The university offers the following options for payment of fees:
